The gardens are located on the grounds of Bagaduce Music at 49 South St, Blue Hill, Maine.

During Your Visit

For the safety of all visitors and protection of the plants and natural resources, follow these guidelines:

  • Leave no trace

  • Leave plants and their parts for future visitors and wildlife

  • Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after

  • Stay on marked trails and paths 

  • Refrain from smoking in the gardens

  • Camping and fires are not permitted 

  • No bicycles, horses, or off-road vehicles

Be aware of outdoor risks, including, but not limited to, uneven terrain, slippery areas, insects and wildlife.

Accessibility

The garden features ADA-compliant pathways of packed crushed gravel along the Performance Hall Garden, Library Garden, and from the Summer House to the Wildlife Pond. A 318-foot ADA-compliant boardwalk brings visitors from the Summer House to the South Woods Bridge, and an ADA-accessible picnic table is located in a woodland clearing along the South Woods Trail. 

Parking and restrooms

The ample parking lot is a flat, compacted gravel surface. For people with limited mobility, there are several spaces by the Performance Hall to park cars.  
 

There is no public restroom on site.
